SharpShark
SharpShark helps businesses protect and monetize their intellectual property by using Web3 standards to certify authorship, track usage, and address violations, giving content creators and IP owners greater control over their work. They also provide a simpler method for users to buy content with clear terms of usage, helping IP holders to monetize their work. The platform's proof-of-authorship is compatible with DMCA and EUCD.
The team recently completed a pilot project with Cointelegraph, where they protected and monitored their website for almost three months. During the pilot, the SharpShark platform:
Protected 65 articles and identified 34 instances of plagiarism
Detected 363 alerts, of which 283 were relevant, resulting in a 78% accuracy rate
Made 283 requests, had 191 cases removed, made 183 requests to Google and reviewed 173 cases
The platform's success rate when working with website owners and providers was 67% and when working with Google transparency report it was 95%
The project was a success, with almost 300k visitors returning to Cointelegraph due to the removal of plagiarized content.
Kubelt
Alex from Kubelt joined us to share their latest big news about joining Cloudfare Workers Launchpad. Congrats!
